She was the parent of Fabian Archuleta. She married Nathaniel Hernandez on June 14 in Denver, Denver County, Colorado, and they were married until Nathaniel's death on September 18, 1997 in Denver. They had children Kelly Cruz Hernandez and Sy Hernandez. Florentina's partner was Maymard Lee Robinson Sr., and they had a child Robert Lee Robinson. Florentina Hernandez died at age 68 years old on April 7, 2010 in Denver, Denver County.
