A Very Warm And Gracious Person
Everything I already said about Flossie are the things I want remembered about her. She was always inviting me to her home and I never felt unwelcome there. She had quite a collection of vinyl LPs. She loved music. Loretta Lynn, Conway Twitty.
We had a mutual friend whose relatives lived in Washington State. Flossie drove us there in her Lincoln Continental. If I had died that day, I would have died happy and felt as if I were entering the afterlife floating above the clouds, the ride was that enjoyable. She was careful with petrol and used the cruise control for most of the drive there and back.
One year for Yule, she gave me a check for $50.00. I nearly fainted. She told me to use it for anything I wanted or needed. A very generous soul. We need more people like her on Earth. I still think of her often and miss her greatly.
