Floyd Harold Depew was born to Lewis Earl Depew (1883 - 1946) and Elizabeth Rachel Mills (1885 - 1961). His father was born in Michigan and his mother was born in California. Floyd H. Depew was a veteran of World War II, having enlisted in the United States Army in March of 1943 in Fresno, California. Floyd Depew married Jean E. Armstrong (1916 - 1955) about 1946 in Bakersfield, California. They had one daughter, Leslie Anne Depew. See Floyd H Depew: Obituary.

FLOYD DEPEW Visalia - Graveside services for Floyd Depew, 76, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Visalia Cemetery. Mr. Depew died Tuesday. He was born in Farmersville. He was a police officer with the Visalia Police Department for many years and was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Visalia, the Ivanhoe Lions Club, the Visalia Elks Lodge, the Professional Rodeo Cowboy Association and the Tulare County Peace Officers Association. Surviving are his daughter, Leslie Anne Holzer of Bakersfield; and four grandchildren.
