Source: Kokomo Tribune Published: 6/25/2005 FORREST WAYNE PARTLOW Nov. 19, 1924 - June 24, 2005 Forrest Wayne Partlow, 80, Kokomo, died at 7:45 p.m. Friday, June 24, 2005, at his residence. He was born Nov. 19, 1924, the son of Ralph Forrest Partlow and Florence Esther (Thomas) Partlow. On June 18, 1950, in Kokomo, he married Mary J. (West) Partlow, who survives. For many years, he worked for Ladish Pacific Co. in California. In Kokomo, he worked for Button Motors and Todd Uniform. He was a veteran of the Army during World War II and the Korean War for a short time. He enjoyed woodworking and repairing antique furniture. The family would like to give a special thanks to Guardian Angel Hospice of Kokomo. Also surviving are one son, David and Teri Partlow, Maryville, Tenn.; one daughter, Debra Whitaker, Kokomo; a brother, Ralph Partlow, Florida; sister-in-law, Judy Partlow, Kokomo; sister, Mildred and Dwaine Hubbartt, Kokomo; grandchildren, Christine M. Whitaker and Mary Beth Whitaker, both of Kokomo, and Amanda Partlow, California; great-grandchildren, Braun and Bethany Aburn and Jessica Bright; and a special friend, Traci Laurance, Kokomo. He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Beth Ann Partlow Draime; and three sons, James F., Forrest W. Jr., and Michael W. Partlow. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Albright Cemetery. The Rev. Ken Byland will officiate. Military honors will be held by the Kokomo VFW Military Rites Teams at the cemetery. No calling is planned. Ellers Mortuary is in charge of the arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the family in lieu of flowers.
