Frances Salene (Buffington) Knight of Marshall County, West Virginia United States was born on May 22, 1830 to Elizabeth Rhoda (Sockman) and Parkinson J. Buffington. She was the mother of George Custer Knight. Frances Knight died at age 58 years old on July 25, 1888, and was buried at Mount Rose Cemetery Jefferson Ave, in Moundsville.
