Francis Greenaway was born in 1915 in Benalla, Benalla Rural City County, VIC Australia to Richard Edward Francis Greenaway and Susan Greenaway ( Hodgson, and had a sister Margaret Greenaway. He married Nellie Greenaway, and had a child Richard Lewis Greenaway. Francis Greenaway died at age 96 years old in July 2012.

Loving husband of Nellie (dec.), special dad of Richard (dec.), and Klaudia, Judy and Geoff, Sue and George (dec.), Fran and Ian. Jock, Pop of six grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. In 1915, in the year that Francis John"Jock"Greenaway was born, the Superior Court in Fulton County Georgia accepted the charter for the establishment of the new Ku Klux Klan, succeeding the Klan that flourished in the South in the late 1800's. This iteration of the Klan adopted white clothing and used many of the code words from the first Klan, adding cross burnings and mass marches in an attempt to intimidate others.
