    Francis Kyne was a native of San Francisco but had lived for most of his life in the San Mateo County Coastside community of Moss Beach, the setting for several stories written by his celebrated brother, Peter B. Kyne. Francis had two daughters Marie and Margaret and three sons, John, Joseph and Gerald. He had eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren, the last being Dennis Joseph Kyne, Jr.
