    Francis or better known as Frank married one of his cousins Edith McCluskey from Cobram, Victoria they had one son Thomas McCluskey . Francis/Frank was working on the families orchards when he had a tractor accident and died at the age of 26.

In 1919, in the year that Francis Michael Mccluskey was born, Indian lawyer Mahatma Gandhi initiated the Satyagraha campaigns, beginning the nonviolent resistance movement against British rule of India.
