He married Cecilia T (Swenson) Deacy, and had children Michael Deacy, Nicholas J Deacy, Sheila A Deacy, Lisa Deacy, Martina Rose Deacy, Louise I Deacy, Ramona M Deacy, and David B. Deacy. Francis Deacy died at age 85 years old on March 5, 2001.

Francis Sylvester Deacy married Cecilia T Swenson in Renton Washington at St. Anthony's Catholic Church. They met in Renton when Cecilia/mom was boarding while training at Baits Technical school and working. They had 8 children while Dad worked at the FHA in Seattle: Mike , Nick, Sheila , Dave, Lisa, Tina and Ramona and Louise. He had all the children in Catholic grade schools and High Schools. He was a lifetime member of the St. Vincent De Paul with the St. Paul's Church. He went to church every day since retirement. He made his children and grandchildren his life . His smile and garage sale finds will always be remembered. The boxes of organizations that had received donations throughout his life were a taste of what sort of dad and grandpa he was.
