    Frank Edward "Bud" Huesing was born to Edwin Joseph Huesing (1896 - 1965) and Hildagarde "Hilda" M. Koenig (1896 - 1941). His father was born in Kentucky, his mother was born in Ohio. He had four sisters and one brother. Frank Huesing married Audrey Marie Russell (1925 - 2003) and they had two daughters. A veteran of World War II, Frank enlisted in the United States Army in 1943.
