Strong Man

My great-grandfather came to the US at 16 to better his life. He spoke 7 languages, which helped him become a valued foreman at Simmons.

Grandpa ate oatmeal every morning. He walked to the corner tavern every evening for exercise and coffee with “sugar.” His sugar was a shot of Slivowitz brandy.

Grandpa also played the concertina brilliantly! He had a wry laugh and was loved by all.
