    Frank J. Fitt, 48, 3120 Park Ave., South Plainfield, N. J. a native of Old Forge, died yesterday morning in Veterans Hospital, Wilkes-Barre, after a brief illness. Son of the late Josephine and Frank Fitt, he resided most of his life in Old Forge. He moved to New Jersey four years ago. He was employed by the L, A. Dreyfus Co., Plainfleld. He was a World War II veteran and served in the European Theater three and a half years. He was a member of St. Michael's RC Church, Old Forge. Surviving are his wife, the former Sophia Stacknick; five brothers, Joseph Fitt, Old Forge; Henry and Walter, Old Forge; John, Dunmore, and Stanley. Detroit,- Mich.; three sisters, Mrs. Frank Serafin and Mrs. Frank Hydeck, Old Forge; Mrs. Edward Chludzinski, Detroit. The funeral will be held Thursday from the Mayurnick Funeral, Home, 127 Church St. Old Forge, with mass at, 9:30 a. m, in St. Michael's Church Interment, parish cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 5, 7 to 11. P, m. The Tribune (Scranton, Pennsylvania) Tuesday, October 29, 1957
