Frank Patton Bernard Dr. was born on April 8, 1886 in Morgan County, Alabama United States to Harvey Patton Barnard and Margaret Frances Barnard, and had a brother Elmo Cagle Barnard. He married Mary Eulalie Hughes in 1910, and they were married until death separated them. He had a child Grace Springfield. Frank Bernard died at age 32 years old on October 21, 1918 in Arab, Marshall County, and was buried at Arab Memorial Cemetery, in Arab.
