Frank Simeon Meadow's father was Samuel F Meadow, (1887 - 1950), born in Russia, and his mother was Vera Snyder (1884 - 1973), also born in Russia. He had sisters Marion and Sylvia Jean Meadow. When Frank was 19, he was living at home in New Haven, Connecticut, and was employed by Harry Bolton at Bolton Manufacturing Company. He was described as being 5 feet, 6 inches tall and weighing 130 pounds. He had brown eyes, brown hair, and a "light" complexion. When he was 27, he was still single and living in Miami, Florida with his brother in law, Reuben Fund, sister Sylvia Fund, and their children Gail and Jeffery Fund. A lodger, Clara Pietz, was also in the household. Reuben was a salesman/driver for an ice cream truck. No one else was working. When Frank's father died that year, he was a junior at Miami University Law School.
