    Fred Edmond Jackson, 66, of Festus died Jan. 10, 2010, at St. Clare Health Care Center in Fenton. Mr. Jackson was a retired parts inspector for McDonneell-Douglas and a member of St. Louis Area Machinists Union. He was a volunteer firefighter with the Jefferson R-7 Fire District for 52 years. Born Aug. 22, 1943, in Plattin, he was the son of the late Peter Berney and Rose Marie (Allgire) Jackson. He is survived by his wife, Barbara (Resinger) Jackson of Festus; one daughter, Elizabeth Ann (Patrick) Lackey of Festus; one son, Daniel Edmond Jackson of San Diego, Calif.; one sister, Margie (the late Bob) Hill of Crystal City; one brother, Berney Dale (Mary) Jackson of Festus; and one granddaughter, Jennifer Rose Lackey. Funeral services are scheduled for 1 p.m. today (Jan. 14) at Vinyard Funeral Home, officated by the Rev. Tony Townsley. Burial is in the Danby Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Ozark Food Pantry. Arrangements were under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home in Festus. Posted in the Jefferson County Leader-Jan. 14, 2010
