Frederick J Hastedt was born in Northern Germany. His mother and father were born in Germany He married Anna Seadorf (born in Germany) in NYC, USA. They had 6 children, Frederick, Alice, Anna, William, Edna and a daughter Gertrude who died at one month old. They moved around a lot eventually to Torrington CT, where his wife Anna died soon after giving birth to daughter Edna in 1930. He eventually married his second wife Lena Ellis Hastedt (Granny) and had more children. Moved to Gt Barrington MA and the soundering towns.
