Fred T Hosaka's History: 1923 - 2001

Uncover new discoveries and connections today by sharing about people & moments from yesterday.
  • Introduction

Grandpa Fred taught me lots of things; woodburning, how to count in Japanese, and my brother learned wood carving with a chainsaw from him. He had a crazy bird that liked to talk when he lived in Arkansas, before that living in Oregon he always sent us salmon he caught and would smoke and crab he would catch. He carved me several pieces from wood I treasure but my favorite is a walking stick he made me because I was always outside.
