Frederick Almiger Richmond of Geelong, Greater Geelong City County, VIC Australia was born on December 13, 1882 in Winchelsea to Mary Ann (Robinson) Richmond and Joseph Richmond. He had siblings Florence Gowen Richmond, Joseph Henry Frith Richmond, and Arthur Edward Robinson Richmond. He married Minnie Edith Deppeler in 1908, and had children Edith Gowan Richmond, Doreen May Richmond, Grace Letitia Richmond, Frederick Joseph Richmond, and Norman John Richmond. Frederick Richmond died at age 76 years old on August 13, 1959 in Geelong.

In 1882, in the year that Frederick Almiger Davies Richmond was born, on January 5th, writer and lawyer Charles J. Guiteau was found guilty of the assassination of President Garfield. Guiteau was "offended" because his job applications had been rejected by Garfield's government. He was sentenced to death -although his lawyer plead insanity - and hanged five months later, on June 30th.
