Garrett was the son of the famous Lloyd Bridges (1913-1998) and Dorothy Louise (Simpson) Bridges. Tragically, Garret was only six weeks old when his mother Dorothy found him dead under the covers of his bed according to an article published in The Los Angeles Times on Wednesday August 4th 1948.
