He had siblings Billy Wayne McBride, Ethel Inez "Inez" (McBride) Miller, and Rev. Freddie Ray Vance McBride. He married Reva Dean "Dean" (Douglas) McBride, and had children Kim (McBride) Roberson and Jeff McBride. Gaylor Mcbride died at age 68 years old on May 21, 2011.

April 8, 1943 - May 21, 2011 Gaylor Eugene McBride, 68, of Hazel Green passed away Saturday. Mr. McBride was retired from Winn Dixie after 38 years of service. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Dean McBride; daughter, Kim Roberson; son, Jeff McBride; four grandchildren, Kaylee, Kolby, Christian and Chelsea; brother, Freddie McBride; and sister, Inez Miller. Chapel services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Berryhill Funeral Home. Steve Hale will officiate. Interment will be in New Sharon Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today.
