YOUNGSTOWN – Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday at Mt. Gilead Baptist Church for Mrs. Genetta N. Woods, 76, who departed this life Sunday, Sept. 5, 2010, at Pembrooke Place. Mrs. Woods was born in West Blockton, Ala., a daughter of Charles A. and Amanda J. Boone Nall. She was a supervisor of the dining service at General Motors, worked at Strouss' Department Store, secretary at the Army Recruiting Office and was a cashier at Youngstown City Pools. She was a member of the church, its choir and nurses guild. She earned a BA degree in business. She leaves her children, Oliver S. (Carol A. Reese) Woods, Melvetta (Keith) Claiborne, Emma Smith and Andrea Henderson, all of Youngstown, Frank Nall of Maryland, Dwayne Henderson of Los Angeles and Beverly (Raymond) Boyd of Struthers; a brother, Jose (Montyne) Nall of Youngstown; sisters, Marva (Lemon) Wimbley and Theresa (Jeff) Phillips, both of Cleveland, Barbara (Mark) Tyler of Oceanside, Calif., Patricia Streeter of Youngstown and Gladys Miah of Beechwood; and nine grandchildren. Her parents and a sister, Eleanor Mays preceded her in death. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the church. Arrangements are being handled by the F.D.
