    George John Fredrick Baehr was born to Carl Friedrich Baehr (1858 - 1912) and Auguste Marie Westphal (1862 - 1946). Both parents were born in Prussia. He had siblings Clara Martha, Harry August Otto, and Emma Augusta Baehr. George Baehr married Alma D Parge (1890 - 1961) on April 18, 1912 in Dorchester, Clark County, Wisconsin. They had nine children, including Anita Caroline, Carl E., Helen Clara, Vernon George, Lorraine, Elmer, and Gilbert Baehr.
