George Charles Dixon 1908 - 1973

George Charles Dixon of Salina, Saline County, KS was born on November 22, 1908 in Tampa, Marion County to George C Dixon and Effie Dixon. He had siblings Nola F Dixon Stoss, Alice D Dixon Zeitlow, Gladys Dixon Ochs, Esther Ethel Dixon Base, Irene Thelma Dixon Darling, Ida D Dixon Bitter, Gustav (Gus) G Dixon, Joseph Dixon, and William Dixon. He married Anna Elizabeth Sander Dixon, and had a child Martha Ann Dixon Cook. George Dixon died at age 65 years old on December 25, 1973 at Asbury Hospital in Salina, Saline County, and was buried in Salina.

    George C. Dixon was born November 22, 1908, in Tampa, Kansas. He died December 25, 1973, at Asbury Hospital, Salina. Mr. Dixon had lived in Salina 8 years and was a retired service station attendant. He was a member of the Elks and Odd Fellows lodges. Survivors included his widow, Anna; a daughter, Mrs. Martha A. Cook: a brother, Gus Dixon; and five sisters, Mrs. Ida Bitter, Mrs. Esther Base, Mrs. Nola Stoss, Mrs. Alice Zeitlow and Mrs. Irene Darling.
