George Clinch Muldoon of QLD Australia was born in November 1899 in Camberwell, City of Boroondara County, VIC to Henry Joseph Muldoon and Emma Lilian (Haines) Muldoon. He had siblings John Packman Muldoon, Frances Emma Muldoon, and Jean Margaret Muldoon. George Muldoon married Tottie Ingate in 1926, and died at age 58 years old on December 15, 1957 in QLD.

In 1899, in the year that George Clinch Muldoon was born, the meaning of Chinese "oracle bones" was rediscovered. Farmers in China had been turning up the bones in their fields for generations but most often they were ground up and sold as medicine. The chancellor of the Imperial Academy and a friend noticed, before they ground the bones, that they had writing. The bones had been used around the second millennium BC for divination.

In 1900, George was merely 1 year old when the German physicist Max Planck formulated an energy theory, postulating the existence of "quanta," which lays the groundwork for the quantum theory of modern physics. In December, he introduced a paper on the Planck postulate which stated that E=hv - the energy of a photon is proportional to its frequency times a constant. Planck won a Nobel Prize in 1918 for his work in theoretical Physics.
