George Edward Plunkett of Baddaginnie, VIC Australia was born in 1894 in Benalla to Charles Plunkett and Mary Jane (Abbott) Plunkett. He had siblings Daniel Charles Plunkett, Maurice William Plunkett, Elizabeth Ann (Plunkett) Harris, Julia (Plunkett) Meredith, Mary Jane ( Plunkett) Gray, and Charles Plunkett. George Plunkett died at age 20 years old on April 30, 1915 at Gallipoli in Turkey.
