He married Elizabeth Sarah"Dot"Greenaway ( Newell ( Chettle ( Smye. He also married Victoria Maud (Turville) Greenaway, and they had children Alma Maud Mottram ( Greenaway, Ruth Greenaway, Frank Greenaway, Phebe Greenaway, and Elvie Greenaway. George Greenaway died at age 86 years old on May 12, 1980, and was buried in May 1980 in Benalla, Benalla Rural City County.
