George Germaine 1864 - 1952

George Germaine of Goornong, Greater Bendigo City County, VIC Australia was born on May 18, 1864 in Dunk to Frederick Germaine and Amsteina Louis Kraig Germaine. He had siblings Alfred Germaine and Alice Germaine Thwaites. He married Clara Jane (Duckmanton) Germaine in 1887, and had children Clara Louisa Germaine, Mary Germaine, Elsie Agnes Germaine, and Lilian Ada Germaine. George Germaine died at age 87 years old on January 3, 1952 at Lynden St, in Camberwell, City of Boroondara County.

It mandated that "In God We Trust" was to be placed on all United States coins and created a 2 cent coin.
