George Hassell 1832 - 1919

George Hassell of Ballarat, City of Ballarat County, VIC Australia was born in 1832 in Wraxall, North Somerset County, England United Kingdom. He married Mary Elizabeth (Bury) Hassell in 1858. They had a child George Edward Hassell. He would also marry Lillian Madeline (Heffernan) Hassell in 1902. They had children Elizabeth Elsie Heffernan Hassell, Harold Ralph Hassell, Clarence Victor Hassell, Ruby Olive Hassell Heffernan, Hilda Victoria Hassell, Oliver Hassell Heffernan, Ida Madeline Hassell, Albert Edward Hassell, Ivy May (Hassell Heffernan) James, Horace Herbert Hassell Heffernan, and Evelyn Hassell. George Hassell died at age 86 years old on August 20, 1919 in Ballarat, City of Ballarat County, VIC Australia, and was buried at Ballarat New Cemetery in Invermay Park.
