George Moore Muirhead 1878 - 1908

George Moore Muirhead was born in 1878 to John Muirhead and Jane Sloan (Moore) Muirhead, and had siblings Janet Lorimer Muirhead and Margaret McCrindle Muirhead. He married Edith Pine (Westmore) Muirhead, and had children John "Jack" Westmore Muirhead and Jeannie Moore (Muirhead) Campbell. George Muirhead died at age 29 years old on October 13, 1908 at Auburn in Hawthorn East, Boroondara City County, VIC Australia, and was buried at Kew Cemetery in Kew.

MUIRHEAD.- In sad, but loving, memory, of my dear husband, George Moore Muirhead, who passed away at Tara- street, Camberwell, October 13, 1908. Peacefully sleeping, resting at last, Earth's weary pain and troubles past, Jesus has taken him home to his breast, Sleeping so peacefully, ever at rest. Daddy. ( Inserted by his loving wife and children, Jack and Jeannie.) The Age, Melbourne. 13 October 1915, MUIRHEAD.- In loving and affectionate remembrance of our dear son, George Moore Muirhead, who died at "Linton" Tara-street, Upper Hawthorn, , 13th October, 1908, also his dearly beloved wife, Edith Pine ( nee Westmore ), killed Richmond railway disaster, 18th July, 1910. To the memory dear. The Argus, Melbourne. 13 October 1920. IN MEMORIUM. MUIRHEAD.- In fond and loving memory of our dear father, George Moore, who died at Auburn, October 13, 1908; also our dear mother, Edith Pine ( nee Westmore ), killed at Richmond railway disaster July 18, 1910, dearly beloved parents of Jack and Jeannie Muirhead.
