Mr. Hayling was "A man ahead of his time for entrepreneurs and wealth builders."
My knowledge and relationship of Mr. Hayling began in 1978 when I responded to an ad in Popular Mechanics Magazine for a newsletter named Money Making Communique. I purchased the subscription to the newsletter and was fascinated on the various business ideas that Mr. Hayling included from time to time. My first attempt at business was to send money to the Barry Communications, a firm in Chicago that allowed you to set up your own (music) record selling company. This idea allowed me to communicate with various record companies and received information and new releases of Albums and Artists. It also provided for me to create a listening list where I rated the records on the campus called the Campus Top 30. As a result I also received concert tickets to area shows in Houston, Texas, Promotional Materials for give-aways. The next business I created was a Mail Order Business selling various Greeting Cards from American Greetings and Hallmark and other trinkets.

I wish I had followed through on a number of ideas coming from that Newsletter. I wish I had created the United States Soccer League or Americas Soccer Association in 1978 as he suggested based on the popularity that soccer was gaining in America with Pele joining the Cosmos. Mr. Hayling also suggested that people ought to be studying Mandarin and Chinese because China was beginning to emerge as Socialist Country with relaxed capitalism following the relationship with President Richard Nixon and President Mao Zedong.

The Money Making Communique was a unique opportunity to create future businesses with the knowledge of Mr. George Hayling. My purchase of this newsletter in addition to other information was the best thing for me while in college. I only wished I had stayed with some of his ideas. Thanks Mr. Hayling, may your memory live on in others.
