He married Lilian Mary Ponting in 1908, and had children Dorothea Bell Farrar, Lilian Marjorie Farrar, and Muriel Georgette Farrar. George Farrar died at age 92 years old on March 8, 1974 in Blackburn, Whitehorse City County.
