George William Pfaffenberger was born in May 1877 in Dubois, Dubois County, Indiana United States to Martin Pfaffenberger and Margaretha Pfaffenberger. He married Katie Goller Pfaffenberger, and they were married until George's death on May 16, 1917. George Pfaffenberger had children Ella Barbara (Margaret) Pfaffenberger, Carl Frederick Pfaffenberger, Martin Heinrich Pfaffenberger, Georg J. Pfaffenberger, George Christian Pfaffenburger, and Luther E Pfaffenburger.
