His first marriage was to Margaret J Zegowitz on November 23, 1945, in Alexandria, Virginia, USA. He then married Doris Katherine Wathen on July 2, 1948, in D.C. Later on, he married Cora McGee on December 12, 1984, in Tarrant, Texas, USA. He was also married to Elva E Rencher from November 25, 1987, until March 21, 1991.
