DeGuilio Sr. was born in Pawtucket Rhode Island to Joseph DeGuilio Sr. (1904-1986) and Ellen Sullivan (1907-1982), and had four sisters and two brothers Joseph DeGuilio Jr. (1931-2020) and Richard DeGuilio (1939-1957). Gerald married Carolyn Makonis and they had a daughter and two sons including Dennis keith DeGuilio born in 1962 and passed away in 2021.
