He had siblings Joseph Frances Confait, Enis May Confait, Eileen Elizabeth Confait, Chloris Stephanie Confait, and Gertrude Annie Confait. He married Annie Maria (Henderson) Confait, and had children Jeanne Eileen Confait and John Alexian Confait. Germain Confait died at age 57 years old on October 4, 1952 in Bairnsdale.
