Gertrude Gitel (Schwarzkuchel) Tesser was born in 1874 in Nowe Żukowice, tarnowski County, Małopolskie Poland to Beile (Rich) Schwarzkuchel and Abraham Martin Mordecai Schwarzkuchel, and had siblings Sarah (Schwarzkuchel) Storch and Abraham Schwarzkuchel Jr.. She married Abraham Tesser in 1890, and had children David Tesser, Louis Tesser, Sam Tesser, Benjamin Tesser, Bella (Tesser) Brownstein, Morris Tesser, Ruth (Tesser) Sachs, and Max Tesser. Gertrude Tesser died at age 69 years old on April 3, 1944.
