Gil was a good guy: I knew Gil in San Francisco, he was one of the most gentle and kind-hearted persons I've known. He designed and arranged flowers and was probably the best I've seen. Beyond that, he had a keen sense of friendship and what others were feeling and thinking. He always knew how to be a friend. I lost touch with him in 2008 and later heard he had passed away. He's one of those people who stay with you for a lifetime in your heart, he was that good. I hope others had the same good experience I did with Gil.
