Goldie Jeanne (Hawn) Hudson was born on November 21, 1945 in Washington, District of Columbia County, District Of Columbia United States to Edward Rutledge Hawn and Laura Steinhoff. She married Gus Trikonis on May 16, 1969 and they later divorced in June 1976. She married William Louis Hudson Jr. on July 3, 1976 and they later divorced in March 1982. They had children Oliver Rutledge Hudson and Kate Garry Hudson. Goldie's partner was Kurt Vogel Russell on February 14, 1983 in Los Angeles, Los Angeles County, California. They had a child Wyatt Hawn Russell.
