Introduction

After being discharged from the military, Gordon met and married Inez O. Ruhl (in Marion, Ohio). They moved to Hale Center, Texas and opened a family clothing store. They had one son (our brother): William Gordon Wealch born September 1950 in Plainview, Tx. Bill couldn't remember his father, who left when he was about two years old. Bill died at age 26 of Hodgkins Disease. (Gordon Wealch was our step father.)

Gordon Wealch's mothers name was Ruth Wealch. They were from Michigan. He and my mother (Inez Ruhl) owned Wealch's Family Clothing Store in Hale Center Tx. When they divorced, he left for Michigan and never contacted his son again...our brother could not remember his father and never knew his extended family.
