Gracian Murdi 1891 - 1985

Gracian Murdi of Billings, Yellowstone County, MT was born on April 29, 1891 to Martin Angel Zugarramurdi Garmendia and Modesta Miquelpericena-Ariztegui. He had siblings Fred Murdi, Joe Murdi, Maria-Felipa Zugarramurdi, Juana-Maria Zugarramurdi, Martin-Jose Zugarramurdi, Maria Josefa Flaviana Zugarramurdi, Micaela Balbina Ignacia Zugarramurdi, and Marino Zugarramurdi. Gracian Murdi married Delona Murdi, and died at age 94 years old in April 1985.

In 1891, in the year that Gracian Murdi was born, from March 9th through the 12th, a blizzard hit the south and west of England. Called the Great Blizzard of 1891, it led to snow drifts of up to 15 feet and killed 200 people and 6,000 animals. Fourteen ships sank.
