The following obituary appeared in the Hawaii Tribune-Herald (Hilo, Hawaii) on Friday, September 28, 1984: GRANT LOPAKA HANOA Grant Lopaka Hanoa of Hilo died Wednesday at the Hilo Hospital. He was 21. Born in Honolulu, Mr. Hanoa was a fence erector for Bob's Fencing Co., in Hilo and a member of the Jehovah Witnesses. Friends may call from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. Saturday at the Dodo Mortuary Chapel. Funeral Services will be held at 3:30 at the chapel. Burial will follow at Homelani Memorial Park. Mr. Hanoa is survived by his wife, Wendy Maile Hanoa of Hilo; parent Robert and Doris Hanoa of Hilo; a sister, Delphine (Monroe) Remmers of Hilo; and paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Graciano (Chiyono) Fernandez of Ka'u.ADVERTISEMENT BYLooking for more information?
