Hi,

If this Grant Brookes lieved in USA his mother Mary Ann was my great aunt. She was born in Forres in Scotland & her husband was George Brookes.
I cannot find when she emigrated & it looks as if George Brookes was born in england but II haven't find a marriage certificate.

H Mimi,

I have no idea who Grant Brookes married but I do know that George brookes & Aunt Mary were my great uncle & aunt. Grant born in 1916 could tie in as my mother was born in 1920 & her parents married later.My mother kept in touch with Aunt Mary until she died but not her family.
