Introduction

I met Gregory in 2000 after searching for my biological parents. He did not even know I existed. Even though he did not feel comfortable sharing my existence with his parents he did tell his sister Val about me. He opened his heart to me after I showed him my birth certificate and told him who my mother was. Gregory had been sick for a couple weeks and was too stubborn to see a doctor. By the time he finally went it was too late. He died one day later from leukemia. Even though I never met my father in person I had grown very fond of my father. He gave me some very valuable advice over the 4 yrs that I knew him. I think of him fondly and only wish I could have met him in person. His sister Val Hempstead and I had exchanged #s but she never returned my calls, I had been looking forward to getting to know her and learning about my father's family. Sadly she has never returned my calls . I have respected her privacy. If anyone knows Val or her family (or Val is reading this now) please get in touch with me. I'd love to get to know my family.
