Bill was a hard working, World War II veteran who provided well for his family. Bill enjoyed animals and working outside in his yard. He was also very talented physically and enjoyed playing and watching sports. Bill was married to Marie Hite in 1941. They had 6 children together. They were divorced in 1979. Bill remarried Carolyn and they remained married until his death.
