Gus George Allemenos was born on March 21, 1924 in Toledo, Lucas, Ohio, USA to parents George Allemenos (born 1888) and Marika "Mary" Allemenos (born 1900). He had older siblings Nickolas and Virginia Allemenos. He served in the US Army from August 5, 1944 until July 3, 1946. He is a veteran of World War II. On November 8, 1953 he married Katherine Alexopoulos in a ceremony at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church by the bride's grand uncle. They had a child together. Gus was the owner of the Arrow Bar and Grill in Toledo, Ohio.
