Friend of my Grandfather
From what I've heard, Gus Uth was my Grandfather Elwood Higginbotham in Oxford, Mississippi. He protested at the capital building for him and sent word about his bravery, calling a political prisoner and the Hero of Sharecroppers in 1935 to the Daily Worker newspaper in Denmark. I would like to know more about Mr. Uth, and his time with my Grandfather.
