She was married to Charles George Frey, and had children Charles George Joseph Frey, Mary Josephine Lillian (Lillie), Charles George Joseph (George), Frederick William Henry Frey, Emma Flora Frey, Ida Pauline (Minnie), Charles Albert (Charlie), Otto Adolph (Alfred) Frey, Alice May Frey, and Mabel Winifred Frey. Hannah Frey died at age 80 years old on May 10, 1918 in Collingwood, VIC.

Van Buren won 50.8% of the popular vote over election rival Harrison's 36.6%, largely due to Van Buren's promise to continue (previous) President Jackson's policies.
