Hannelore's partner was Frank Howe and they later separated. They had a child Michael Frank Howe. Hannelore's partner was Joseph Blancas in Dallas, Dallas County, Texas United States. They had a child Angelina Marie Blancas. Hannelore Balderas died at age 74 years old in February 2015 in Lewisville, Denton County.

It is believed that she spent time in Lichtenstein, Bodensee, and Boden, Germany before coming to the United states (196?) Living under the name Hannelore (Werth) Wirth. Hannelore (Wirth) Balderas: Birthday Father believed to be named Joseph who served in the Army not confirmed. Mother Lena (Griblie) Wirth was a Master Seamstress like Hannelore. It is believed both parents died during the war which left Hannelore orphaned at age 8. (current research)

She told a story of being raised for a time by Nuns in a castle near Bodensee as she recalled it being one of the last standing structures where she grew until she saved enough money to come to the US. This may not be correct. Roosevelt running for a third term was controversial.
