    Birth: Jun. 6, 1932 Death: Jan. 8, 2014 Harley "Bob" Winchester Jr., 81, of Omaha, Nebraska, passed away on January 8, 2014 at his home in Omaha, NE. Harley Vincent Winchester Jr, son of Harley and Elizabeth (Strater) Winchester was born on June 6, 1932 in Atlantic, Iowa. Harley grew up in Ankeny and graduated high school from Glenwood. He enlisted in the Unites State Air Force serving during the Korean War. On May 25, 1952 he married Gay Elaine Rager in Glenwood. After their marriage the couple lived in Maryville, Missouri where he attended college. After moving to Omaha, Harley received his masters in special education and history from the University of Nebraska Omaha. He taught at the Omaha Public School for over 20 years retiring in 1994. Harley is survived by his daughter, Julie Winchester of Omaha; son, Joel Winchester of Phoenix, AZ; grandson, Michael Cochran (Stephanie) of Omaha; granddaughter, Danielle Ellis (Chris), of Jenks, OK; 3 great grandchildren, Shane, Damien, and Collin, numerous nieces and nephews and a host of special friends.
