Hi , my name is Claire and I was the granddaughter of hall . I was adopted at the age of six and unfortunately was only able to have him constantly in my life for those six years , other than that I would see him in average every two years there after . Long story short my grandpa hall meant and still means the world to me . When I didn't have a mom and dad around he was and he always made me smile and happy even though my situation as a child wasn't good . I never thought of the bad things I was going through when I was with him because of the love he gave me . He was an unconditional love giver and would bring tears to my eyes overtime I saw him , not out of sadness but out of happiness because of how much he truly loved me and took care of me when I had no one . The sad part of all this is I had no idea he had passed until now and I'm heart broken . I have a beautiful six year old daughter that I was just speaking to about him saying that she had to meet him but the sad thing is , is that time goes by way too fast and I missed the opportunity for her to meet him . I wish I hadn't waited so long but I did . Hall was the best man I have ever met in my life . I'm 31 years old now and won't ever forget the love and kindness he gave me . I was a scared little girl in and out of bad situations and he showed me light . I could never thank him enough . I love you grandpa balldy .
